Although Toyota hasn’t made any official announcements yet, the positive response from customers is leading to pre-launch bookings being accepted by certain dealers.
One can now book the upcoming Toyota Innova Crysta at select dealerships for Rs. 50,000. Deliveries could commence around April-May 2016.
The Innova is the most popular and successful MPV on sale in India and still manages to outsell competition by a healthy margin, even though it costs much higher.
The new Innova was already showcased to the Indian audience last week at the Auto Expo.
The Innova Crysta measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width, 1,795mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. It is bigger than its predecessor in scale by 150mm in length, 70mm in width & 35mm in height. Wheelbase of the new & old models remains the same.
This all-new model of the Toyota Innova will get 3 new engine options. While it was rumoured that a petrol motor won’t make it in India, Toyota is bringing the 2.0L, VVT-i, TR gasoline motor along with the 2.4L GD diesel engine. Engines will also get power & eco driving modes. Fuel efficiency will be higher by 15% compared to the older model.
