Yamaha has launched the ABS equipped version of the R15 V3.o. The R15 V3.o made a debut earlier at the Auto Expo 2018, and within a year, this ABS version has been launched. Apart from ABS, the bike also gets a new Darknight paint scheme.

The R15 is a entry-level supersport motorcycle. The bike for the first time ever in India now gets ABS, and that too a dual-channel setup making it superior to other bikes in the segment. The dual-channel ABS variant has been priced at a premium of INR 12,000 over the standard R15 V3.0. The 2019 Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 ABS costs INR 1.39 lakh ex-showroom.

The new Darknight colour scheme is a black matte paint finish with grey and silver (white) decals. There is a rim stripe in place as well.

Powering the R15 V3.0 is a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve, FI petrol motor producing 19.3 HP of power @ 10000 RPM and 15 Nm of torque @ 8500 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The bike also gets a gear shift light for assistance.

The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 also comes with LED tail lamps and LED head lamps. You have a full digital speedometer, split seats, Deltabox chassis, and styling which remains the best-in-class.
