At the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, Yamaha plans to launch the Yamaha XSR 155. Yamaha is anticipated to display the XSR 155 in a variety of colour options during the Expo, which should be an excellent way to determine consumer enthusiasm.

 Engine and Performance

A 155cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, SOHC engine that powers the R15 V3.0 and the MT-15 will power the future Yamaha XSR155. This engine generates 19.3 PS of power and 14.7 Nm of torque. This engine unit will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Yamaha XSR 155 Features:

The Yamaha XSR 155 will appear to be a larger version of the XSR 700. A circular all-digital instrument console and a round LED headlamp will be given to the XSR 155. Instead of being side-mounted like the larger sister, the instrument console will be placed directly in the centre of the handlebar.

The new, retro-styled Yamaha XSR 155 motorcycle will be mounted on 17-inch wheels and will have 110/70 and 140/7 front and rear tyres. It will be built on the same chassis as the MT-15 and the new Yamaha R15 V3.0. The swingarm will be made of cast aluminium, which is available in the MT-15 and R15 models that meet Indonesian specifications. The motorcycle will include a mono-shock unit with adjustable preload at the back and an upside-down fork up front for suspension chores.

Additionally, a slipper clutch will come standard on the bike. The dual-channel ABS will be standard, and the braking system consists of disc brakes on both ends. The XSR155 will compete with the Honda CB150 Streetster in Indonesia. Like the MT-15 and the new R15 V3.0, Yamaha may introduce this motorcycle in India. It is impossible to overlook the potential 2020 Delhi Auto Expo debut of the India-spec XSR 155.
