Yamaha launches RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid & Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid, prices start at INR 76,830

Yamaha Motor India has launched the new Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid in India. Along with this, the Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid has also made its debut in the Indian market. Both the scooters now come with the Japanese manufacturer’s state of the art SMG (Starter Motor Generator) hybrid technology. The scooters also come with LED light technology, Bluetooth enabled dashboard and new body colours. The Yamaha RayZR Fi Hybrid comes with a price tag of INR 76,830 ex-showroom, Delhi. The brand also offers RayZR in Cyan Blue, Matt Red, Metallic Black and two new colours Cocktail Yellow and Racing Blue. The Street Rally comes in two new colours Sparkle Green and Matt Copper.

Yamaha RayZR & Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid – Powertrain

Powering the Yamaha RayZR and Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid is a 125cc air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine. The blue core engine produces 8.2 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. Both the scooters come with a kerb weight of 99 kgs. The lightweight and powerful engine helps both the scooters accelerate seamlessly. But additional help is also provided through the electric Power-Assist Hybrid system. 

Yamaha Hybrid System

The new RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid & Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid comes with a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) System. The SMG also gets an added functionality of a Hybrid System. The new SMG does the duty to start the engine silently and also functions as an electric motor to provide power assistance to the scooter. The system offers added acceleration to the scooter during starts and accelerating from a stand-still. The new system also helps reduce the wobble during start-outs in tandem riding or during uphill climbs. The smart system is automatically cancelled after 3 seconds or when the throttle is cut back. 

Yamaha RayZR & Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid – Features

Both the Yamaha RayZR & Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid scooters come with a plethora of features. The brand is offering an Automatic Stop & Start System along with a quiet starter system. The scooters also come with Side Stand Engine Cut off Switch, which is a standard and mandatory feature on all Yamaha 2wheelers in India. The Hybrid scooters also come with Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X APP with Bluetooth connectivity and an advanced digital instruments cluster. The scooters also get Advanced LED headlights, LED Position light, Power Assist Indicator, Multi-Function key with seat opener, and 21-litre under-seat storage.
