What’s new in the MY23 Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid (Disc)?

Coming to the new powertrain unit, Yamaha now offers a reworked version of the existing 125cc mill. This motor is now both E20 and OBD2 complaint. But adding these new features has not changed the power output of the motor. This 125cc engine churns out 8.2 PS @ 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.3 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. In fact, while delivering the same good performance as before, the engine is now more environment friendly than before. Yamaha also offers a smart motor generator with this engine. With this, the scooter now gets an automatic start / stop system. Further, with the engine running, the smart motor generator acts like a motor and delivers extra thrust to the engine.

Apart from the new engine and the colour option, Yamaha has equipped the My23 Fascino with Y-Connect App. Once paired with the scooter, the rider will be able to get smartphone alerts like calls, SMS/Email alerts and the phone’s battery on the instrument cluster.
