Yamaha launches Fascino 125 FI for INR 66,430

Yamaha has launched their updated and BS6 compliant Fascino scooter in India. Now dubbed as the Fascino 125 FI, the scooter prices start from INR 66,430 and deliveries will commence from January 2020. The 2020 Yamaha Fascino 125 FI replaces the old model and is a thoroughly reworked product rather than just an engine update.

Powering the 2020 Yamaha Fascino 125 FI is a 125cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, BS6 compliant blue core motor which produces 8.2 PS of peak power @ 6500 RPM and 9.7 Nm of peak torque @ 5000 RPM matched to a CVT automatic gearbox. The brand claims a 30% increase in power and 16% increase in mileage compared to the earlier Fascino. The Fascino 125 FI is 4 kg lighter than before thanks to the reworked chassis and it now tips the scale at 99 kg. Yamaha has also introduced an engine start / stop system on the Fascino 125 FI which doesn’t allow the scooter to idle for long, and reduces fuel consumption. This system is smart enough to detect traffic condition, and hence not annoy riders with frequent engine start / stop. For safety, the scooter comes with a front disc brake and combi-brake solution which is not mandatory on all two-wheelers under 125cc. Also, the scooter benefits with a side stand engine cut-off, which will ensure rider safety. With the new starter motor, Yamaha claims that the Fascino 125 FI is much quieter to operate.

With chic styling, the 2020 Yamaha Fascino 125 FI will be sold in red, black, yellow, blue, dark blue, cyan blue and copper paint options. Features on the scooter include tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, telescopic front fork, contoured seat, large under seat storage, healthy dose of chrome applique all around, full analogue speedometer cluster, luggage hook, larger foot board, pillion grab rail, etc.
