Xiaomi’s flagship electric sedan, the SU7 Max, has set a new standard in automotive safety by earning a 5-star rating in the C-NCAP crash tests. With an overall score of 93.5%, the SU7 Max has outperformed all other vehicles tested under the 2024 safety protocols, solidifying its position as one of the safest cars in the market.

The C-NCAP crash tests evaluated the SU7 Max’s safety across three key categories: occupant protection, active safety, and vulnerable road user (VRU) protection. The sedan excelled in all areas, scoring 94.31% in occupant protection, 95.25% in active safety, and 90.42% in VRU protection. These results highlight Xiaomi’s commitment to delivering a safe and reliable electric vehicle.

In the occupant protection tests, the SU7 Max performed exceptionally well in frontal and side crash scenarios, child safety, and whiplash protection. The car also excelled in active safety tests, with features like Automated Emergency Braking (AEB) and advanced lighting systems contributing to its high score. In the VRU protection category, the SU7 Max demonstrated outstanding performance in pedestrian safety, including leg and head protection.
