What to expect from the 2015 Hyundai Elantra facelift

Hyundai will launch multiple cars in 2015 which include the i20 Cross, ix25 SUV, Verna facelift and Elantra facelift to name a few. This article focuses on the changes you can expect from the most feature rich D1 segment sedan.

Changes to the 2015 Elantra:

  • New projector headlamps
  • LED DRLs
  • New fog lamp design
  • New alloy wheels
  • Revised front and rear bumpers
  • New LED tail lamps
  • Chrome weather strip
  • Revised steering wheel
  • Flex steer technology for steering wheel with 3 driving modes
  • New infotainment system with navigation
  • Revised centre console
  • Revised AC vents
  • Cooled glovebox

Engines and transmission options are expected to remain the same here in India. The Elantra is powered by a 1.8L, 150 PS petrol motor and a 1.6L, 128 PS diesel motor. Both the engines are available in a manual as well as automatic gearbox options.

Current pricing: Rs. 12.92 – 16.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
