Volvo Car India has launched the XC40 Recharge with a single-motor at an introductory price of INR 54.95 lakh. The car comes to India as a CKD unit and is assembled at Volvo’s Hasakote facility in Bengaluru.
XC40 Recharge Powertrain
The single-motor XC40 Recharge is equipped with a 69 kWh Li-on battery pack that has a claimed ICAT testing range of 592 km and 475 km on the WLTP cycle. The single electric motor produces 238 hp of power and 420 Nm of torque. It boasts of a 0-100 kmph time of just 7.3 sec and a top speed of 180 kmph.
