Swedish luxury carmaker Volvo is renowned for its efforts towards passenger safety and therefore in its commitment towards safety the brand has introduced a new online car purchase channel called ‘Volvo Contactless Program’. The Volvo Contactless Program also enables existing Volvo owners to book their car services online with their nearest dealership location.
The Volvo Contactless Program provides interested buyer’s with all details of Volvo cars with an interactive online platform and interested buyers can book Volvo car online from the safety and comfort of their homes. The online system also allows the prospective buyer to book a test drive for Volvo cars which will be provided post lockdown relaxation. Through the online channel, interested buyers can get digitized finance options, get online documentation processed and get the car delivered at home in a contactless manner.
The online sales platform work is easy steps where prospective buyers can log on to Volvo Contactless Program website and register themselves. The website than populates a list of Volvo dealerships depending on the customer’s location and the customer can then choose from the list a suitable dealer. The dealer will then contact the customer using a contactless mode such as Whatsapp call, Skype, Facetime etc., as per the chosen mode of contact and a documentation process can be done online to avail a test drive and booking.
In addition to this, Volvo Cars India has also initiated the ‘Safest Place To Be’ program under which all Volvo dealer facilities are being disinfected and personnel working at the dealerships are being provided with Personal Protective Equipments and sanitizers.
The Volvo cars at dealerships across the country are being sanitised in partnership with leading car detailing company 3M and the brand will be providing 3M Interior GermKleen which kills 99% of micro-organisms from the cabin including plastics and upholstery. 3M AC Vent Disinfectant which provides microbial protection by eliminating 99.99% Antigens and 3M Air Refresher which has a deodorizing properties and reduces microbial infections by 99%. The above mentioned services from 3M will be available to Volvo customers at Volvo dealerships, post lockdown relaxation.
