One of the prevalent issues with most Virtus owners was the poor performance of the air-conditioning system. Now, it seems like Volkswagen has acknowledged the issue and came forward with an update. Thus the VW officials have finally directed the technical team to rectify the issue.
How To Get Your Virtus Updated?
Virtus owners have already been notified regarding the update through an SMS. As per the message, VW Vietus owners will have to visit their nearest VW dealer for the update. With this, Volkswagen aims to improve AC performance. As expected, Volkswagen India is offering the update free of cost. Another key piece of information is that this job could take around 30 minutes to an hour.
Volkswagen Virtus Key Highlights
The Volkswagen Virtus arrived in the Indian market in June last year. The sedan uses the localised MQB-A0-IN platform and is available with two engine options. First is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 113 BHP and 175 Nm. Second is the exciting and powerful 1.5-litre TSI engine that makes 148 BHP and 250 Nm. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DSG for the Virtus. The sales figure suggest that the Virtus is selling in good numbers.
