German marque Volkswagen has launched a limited edition of the Vento sedan dubbed as the Vento Konekt. The Konekt limited edition will be available on two variants, comfortline and highline.
Petrol variants of the Vento Konekt are priced between Rs. 7.84 lakh to Rs. 9.8 lakh while the diesel variants are priced between Rs. 8.99 lakh to Rs. 9.8 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The Vento Konekt is equipped with a rear seat entertainment system with an android powered 8″ Blaupunkt tablet with Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G connectivity. It has dual-sim and comes with an HD display screen with access to 16 TV channels. One can also tune in to the radio, login to social media website and other applications which one can run on an android powered device.
Apart from this, the car is equipped with another 7″ Blaupunkt touchscreen display screen at the front. This head unit display also provides Bluetooth, USB and iPod connectivity along with GPS and latest Igo-Navtech maps for navigation.
The Vento Konekt gets leatherette seat covers on the inside. A Konekt badge is to be seen on the boot lid and on the scuff plates.
Mechanically, there are no changes to the car. There have been plenty of limited edition VW Vento’s sold till date, and this again is an attempt to lure the customers. With these additions, do you find more value in the Vento?
