Volkswagen reduces ownership costs for customers

Volkswagen India introduced a host of new initiatives for its customers. The company is looking into providing its customers with ease of ownership. This includes reducing the service cost, expanding the service network and more. All these factors will add up to enhance the services offered by the brand. This is a part of Volkswagen India’s robust service strategy. The main pillars are accessibility, transparency and a customer-first approach.

Major Changes Under This New Initiative

Volkswagen will reduce the cost of its genuine spare parts up to 11 per cent. The engine oil of petrol motors will get cheaper by almost 32 per cent. Customers availing of the Service Value Package will get benefits up to 24 per cent. All these will aim to provide the customers with peace of mind. The German automaker is also expanding its service network. To help cater to a wide range of audience Volkswagen will now use Mobile Service Units. The company claims that these will cover almost 80 per cent of the country with door-step service facilities. The customer staying in remote locations will also benefit from this service.

Volkswagen India’s Total Cost of Ownership Program

Under the 4EVER Care campaign, Volkswagen India introduced the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Program. To provide a seamless supply of spare parts, the dealer service network is served by three regional parts distribution centres located in Pune, Gurgaon and Bengaluru. Under TCO, Volkswagen is providing 3 free services, 4 years warranty, and Roadside assistance. The carmaker is also offering its customers an extended warranty package thus attracting a lot more customers. The brand mentions that there has been an overall reduction in the cost of ownership of all its products. The brand’s best selling products, Polo and Vento are now up to 25 per cent economical to respect to maintenance cost.

It looks certain that Volkswagen is taking the Indian market with utmost importance. With the introduction of multiple initiatives and campaigns, the German carmaker is garnering more sales. The latest introduction, the Taigun will hit the Indian road in the festive season.
