Volkswagen launches Taigun GT Line & GT Plus Sport variants in India

Volkswagen India has launched the much-awaited Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport variants in the Indian market. The VW Taigun in the GT Line comes with sporty exteriors and interiors with a black theme. The Volkswagen Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport variants come with a 25.65-cm touchscreen infotainment, darkened LED headlamps with DRLs and six airbags as standard. Also, the all new Taigun GT Line will offer bespoke 16 exterior and 13 interior features.

Additionally, Volkswagen is also offering a complimentary 4-year Service Value Package (SVP) on the Taigun GT Plus Sport variants as an introductory offer. The brand also revealed that the deliveries for both the Taigun GT Line and the Taigun GT Plus Sport will commence from the month of April 2024.

Volkswagen Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport – Price

The Volkswagen Taigun GT Line with the 1.0-litre TSI engine with Manual Transmission comes with a price tag of INR 14,08,400 ex-showroom. The Taigun GT Line with the Automatic Transmission option comes with an INR 15,63,400 ex-showroom price tag.

The Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport with a 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine with Manual Transmission comes at a price tag of INR 18,53,900 ex-showroom. The Taigun GT Plus Sport variant with Automatic Transmission comes with a price tag of INR 19,73,900 ex-showroom.

Volkswagen Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport – New Features

The Volkswagen Taigun GT Line comes with features such as 17-inch Cassino black alloy wheels, black LED headlamps, and black front grille. The car also comes with a spoiler and diffuser with a dark theme. On the boot lid the Taigun also comes with darkened TAIGUN lettering.

The car also comes with a black TSI badge on the boot lid and other black themed design features around the DLO section and its pillars. In addition to this, the GT Line also gets a dark theme on the interiors. The GT Line also comes with a black coloured headliner, black dashboard decor and ‘Edgy Opulence inserts. The car also gets crystal grey stitching on the seats, steering and armrests. Also, the GT Line variant comes with a combination of Melange fabric seats.

The Volkswagen GT Plus Sport features all the dark features from the GT Line as well as red front ‘GT’ logo. The car also comes with red GT fender badge, GT badge on boot lid and red front brake callipers. The variant also gets Carbon Steel coloured roof on its exteriors.

On the inside, the GT Plus Sport comes with dark lower interior with red stitching on the front centre armrest and the door armrest. The car also gets black leatherette seat covers, black headliner, and red coloured stitching on the steering wheel. The GT Plus Sport also comes with red ambient lights and aluminium pedals.
