Volkswagen has announced the launch of the Ameo Corporate Edition. Volkswagen has priced the Ameo Corporate Edition at INR 6.69 lakh for the Highline Plus petrol and INR 7.99 lakh for the Highline Plus diesel. All prices are ex-showroom.
The Ameo Corporate Edition will be available with the following features: 15-inch alloy wheels, a touchscreen infotainment system that not only plays music but also allows you to read messages and make calls on the go, an automatic climate control air-conditioner, cruise control, automatic rain sensing wipers, cooled glove box and beige upholstery. Safety features such as dual airbags and ABS are also included.
The Volkswagen Ameo Corporate Edition comes with two engine options, a 1.0-litre, inline 3-cylinder, MPI petrol that produces 75 PS of power @ 6200 RPM and 95 Nm of torque @ 3000-4300 RPM coupled to a 5-speed Manual gearbox and a 1.5-litre, TDI, inline 4-cylinder, turbocharged, common rail direct injection motor which produces 110 PS of power @ 4000 RPM and a torque of 250 Nm @ 1500-3000 RPM coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The VW Ameo Corporate Edition comes with an electronic power steering and hydraulic disc brake on the front and a drum brake on the rear equipped with ABS. The suspension is a McPherson strut with stabilizer bars on the front and a semi-independent trailing arm on the rear. The VW Ameo is 3995mm in length, 1682mm in width, 1483mm in height with a wheelbase of 2470mm and has a fuel tank capacity of 45-litres.
The Volkswagen Ameo Corporate Edition is based on the Highline Plus trim and is available in five colours – Candy White, Carbon Black, Lapiz Blue, Reflex Silver and Toffee brown.
