Volkswagen India has announced special service support for its affected customers in Bengaluru. Taking into consideration the flood-like situation in the city, VW India has made this announcement. As a part of this, VW India is offering 24X7 free Roadside Assistance (RSA). Hence, customers can now avail of this service at no additional charge until 30th September 2022. This initiative perfectly resonates with VW India’s ‘Customer-First’ philosophy.
Under the new brand identity, VW now emphasises more on customer safety and a hassle-free ownership experience. Thus, the RSA special service support aims at helping customers resume their normal life soon and have a safe driving experience. Complimentary Roadside Assistance has been put into action for the affected cars. Thus, the affected car will be transported to the nearest dealership on a priority.
In addition, VW will also undertake detailed and comprehensive service checks of the vehicle. This will check for any flood-related damages that need further investigation. VW has already issued necessary standardised repair guidelines across dealerships. VW will also ensure adequate manpower and availability of spare parts across dealerships to ensure a quick and prompt service experience for the customers.
Virtus Sales On The Rise
Volkswagen has recently breached the 5,000 units mark of its all-new Virtus in India. Launched in June 2022, the company has achieved this feat in just 2 months. This speaks of the popularity and market impact of Virtus. Under the new ‘India 2.0’ project, VW’s products are more Indianized than ever at the same time, staying true to VW’s core philosophy. This helps in attracting more customers across various demographics. The sedan is also available in two powertrains and six colour shade options across four trim levels. These are namely, Comfortline, Highline, Topline, and GT Plus. Virtus currently retails with a starting price of INR 11.22 lakh (ex-showroom).
