Volkswagen India sold 58% more cars in CY 2022

Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has released its latest sales report. The company registered a strong annual sales performance with a growth of 58 per cent in 2022 as against 2021. With the recent launch of Virtus and Taigun, VW India is posting a significant demand.

Volkswagen India Key Highlights of 2022

Volkswagen India’s biggest highlight of 2022 was the Taigun. The SUV received a 5-star GNCAP rating for adult and child occupants. Thus making it India’s safest SUV. Volkswagen is also witnessing an outstanding demand for its young and refreshed product lineup. The company is also expanding its reach to newer regions. The Volkswagen network currently stands strong with 159 sales and 126 service touchpoints in 118 cities across India. VW India expanded its network across major cities. This includes Jammu, Agra, Delhi NCR, Nagpur, Kolkata, Arcot Road and Rajahmundry. In addition to this 85 per cent of Volkswagen, the network is ISO 14001:2015 compliant. The target is to achieve 100 per cent in 2023.

The strong performance by Volkswagen in 2022 proves the right brand and product strategy developed for our Indian customers. The network has plans to support 26,000+ customers towards choosing the right mobility solutions through its network of 109 DWA outlets and 25 Excellence Centres.

Customers now get a slew of initiatives like Service Cam, Service Cost Calculator and Service Value Packages.
