Volkswagen has introduced its annual car exchange carnival across India, where customers can exchange, upgrade, and avail service offers for their cars. Read all the details below.

Volkswagen India Annual Autofest 2025 details
At the 2025 Autofest, Volkswagen is offering customers some exciting offers and discounts, which include the following:
- Exchange and loyalty bonus
- Special financing options
- Free vehicle evaluation and test drives
- Service offers and maintenance packages
For customers willing to upgrade or exchange from their old car to the new Taigun or Virtus, the company is offering a maximum loyalty reward of up to Rs 1 lakh.
With that said, the total benefits on the Taigun SUV are now up to Rs 2.5 lakh, while the Virtus sedan can be brought with a maximum discount of up to Rs 1.7 lakh.
As of now, the brand has a small product portfolio, which includes the Virtus, Taigun, and the newly launched Tiguan R-Line and the Golf GTI.
The Taigun SUV’s current price range is Rs 11.80 lakh to Rs 19.83 lakh (ex-showroom). The Virtus sedan can be had from Rs 11.56 lakh to Rs 19.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
Our verdict
With the new localised platform, Volkswagen has been able to survive the strong rivalry with brands like Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki due to its affordable yet fun cars. However, it is the Virtus sedan that is selling exceptionally well and is currently leading the segment. VW India is planning to introduce more affordable cars, and new EVs in the future.
