Volkswagen India is increasingly adding more touchpoints across the country. The carmaker recently inaugurated a new dealership in North Jaipur. Located at Plot No. 13, Jhotwara Industrial Area, Jaipur, Rajasthan – 302012, this dealership will offer Volkswagen’s range in both the new and pre-owned segments. This facility will showcase multiple cars at once thus, enabling the customers to have first-hand experience of the car of their choice.
To enable a smooth and hassle customer experience Volkswagen has both the sales and service under one roof. The workshop has a total of 7 bay areas, which will aid in reducing the wait time for serviced vehicles. With this, the brand now has 4 customer sales and service points in Jaipur. And on a national level, there are over 150+ sales and 118 service touchpoints across the country. And under the ‘India 2.0’ project, Volkswagen aims to expand its reach to more regions.
Volkswagen Taigun – The Enthusiast’s Choice In Its Segment
Ever since the demand for SUVs are on the rise, Indian customers were never really offered a high-performance mid-size SUV until the launch of the Taigun. The Volkswagen brand has always been synonymous with the tagline of ‘driving pleasure’. And with the Taigun, the brand pretty much continues its legacy. Offered with two engine options, a 1.0-litre and a 1.5-litre TSI, both the motors are an enthusiast’s delight.
Customers looking for maximum fun should consider opting for the Taigun GT Plus. This particular variant comes with the 1.5-litre TSI engine paired with Volkswagen’s renowned fast quick DSG gearbox. And to further add to the excitement, the German carmaker has also equipped paddle shifters. Starting at INR 10,49,900 (ex-showroom), Taigun is worth considering.
The good old Polo and Vento continue to sell, even though the current generation is now almost a decade old. And thus to refresh the looks and provide the customers with something different, Volkswagen recently launched the Matt Edition of both cars. And indeed, this makes the cars look very different from the regular trim and will appeal to a wide range of customers. In the rising demand for electric vehicles, it looks like Volkswagen will have its representative by the end of 2025 in this segment.
