Volkswagen has some good cars on sale in the Indian market. Although not the latest of them, looking at what they sell worldwide, but still, they are good to drive cars. However, many Indian customers stayed away from VW cars thanks to their infamous service costs. Now though, Volkswagen wants to address the elephant in the room by offering peace of mind to potential customers.
Volkswagen is now offering 4 years of warranty or 1 lakh km mileage warranty as standard on all cars. The brand is also going to offer 3 free services in a year along with 4 free RSA. All these offers are valid on Volkswagen cars sold from 1st January 2019 onwards.
Before, Volkswagen used offer a standard warranty of 2 years / unlimited km. In this case, the unlimited km warranty was surely superior to what we’re getting now.
Volkswagen is now claiming that with the 3 free services, the ownership cost for VW customers will come down by 24% – 44%.
