The Suzuki GSX-8S now comes in a Cosmic Blue Edition, featuring black wheels and a black seat. Another variant sports red wheels and an all-black body with silver accents. These updates aim to enhance the bike’s street-focused design, making it more appealing to urban riders.
The GSX-S1000GT, Suzuki’s sport-touring flagship, also receives two new color options. The Metallic Grey variant features bronze wheels and a bronze subframe, while the Pearl Vigor Blue finish adds a touch of sophistication. These updates complement the bike’s aggressive styling and touring capabilities.
Suzuki GSX-8S and GSX-S1000GT powertrain
Under the hood, the GSX-8S retains its 776cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers 81.8 bhp and 78 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The GSX-S1000GT continues to use its 999cc inline-four engine, producing 150 bhp and 105 Nm of torque. Both models offer a blend of performance and reliability, catering to different riding preferences.
Suzuki has not introduced these updated models to the Indian market yet. However, the GSX-8R and V-Strom 800 DE, which share the same platform as the GSX-8S, are available in India. The GSX-S1000GT’s updates are expected to strengthen its position in the global sport-touring segment.

The updated Suzuki GSX-8S and GSX-S1000GT showcase the brand’s commitment to keeping its lineup fresh and competitive. While the updates are primarily cosmetic, they add a new dimension to the bikes’ appeal. The GSX-8S continues to be a strong contender in the middleweight naked segment, while the GSX-S1000GT remains a top choice for sport-touring enthusiasts.
