Skoda is going to launch the sporty iteration of the Elroq EV crossover internationally. Ahead of the official launch, the company has released a teaser video, showcasing the highlights of the upcoming Elroq RS.

Skoda Elroq RS EV – What to expect?
As seen in the teaser, the RS version Elroq is draped in the bright Mamba Green shade of Skoda. It gets revised bumpers with a sporty design, which give it a distinctive look compared to the standard version.
The front fascia has a large piano black grille area, which is accompanied by the new air intake and bumper lips to provide better downforce. The side profile will get the new RS-spec dual-tone alloy wheels and the special RS badge on the quarter panels.
Similarly, the rear profile gets a new, sporty bumper and a black roof-mounted spoiler for better aerodynamics and enhanced performance.
On the inside, the Elroq RS will get new, sporty seats with RS embedded in the headrests. Additionally, the steering wheel has the RS badge as well.
We expect that its cabin will get more sporty bits like the aluminium pedals and carbon fiber highlights, which will enhance its sporty character.
However, the powertrain of the Elroq RS will remain unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the rear-axle-mounted 82 kWh battery pack that produces 282 bhp and 545 Nm of peak torque. It can do 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, while the max range output stands at 581 km.
As per our assumption, Skoda will fiddle with its suspension and power transfer tuning to make it more engaging to drive.
The official launch of the Elroq RS is scheduled for April 3 at the Milan Design Week.

Our verdict
The Elroq RS is going to have affordable pricing, as per Skoda. The Elroq moniker is also destined for the Indian market. However, we do not see it coming to India in 2025.
