The upcoming KTM 690 Rally test motorcycle has been spotted in Europe recently. The upcoming ADV was seen with three fuel tanks. Read more below.

KTM 690 Rally – What to expect?
While the Austrian motorcycle brand KTM struggles with the financial crunch issue, it has continued on testing and developing new motorcycles. One such example is the recently spotted test bike, of what we assume, the 690 Rally.
The clear shots showcase that it is suspended over the same chassis as the 690 Enduro R. For obvious reasons, its design has undergone changes, which include the Dakar-styled front with a long windshield, vertical LED lights, a long beak, and a long-travel USD suspension.
Another interesting aspect of the design is the presence of the fuel filler cap underneath the seat. This could possibly mean the presence of three fuel tanks, which will be a boon for touring purposes.

Meanwhile, the test bike is seen using the tubeless spoke wheels with all-purpose tyres and an upright exhaust can on the tail section. We assume it will be a typical lightweight KTM ADV like the other siblings.
Powering it is going to be the same 693cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that powers the KTM 690 Enduro R. This punch-packed engine generates 74 bhp and 74 Nm of peak power and torque. Additionally, it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. We suspect that the 690 Rally will possibly get a bidirectional quickshifter as well.
While no further details are available regarding this unknown test bike, we are expecting that KTM will globally debut it at the upcoming EICMA 2025 in Italy.
So, will it make it to India? Well, we have high hopes because the middle-weight ADV segment in India has recently witnessed multiple launches and a spike in sales.

Our verdict
The 690 Enduro R is a renowned machine in the global market because of its punchy performance and light weight. The Rally version with a relaxed riding posture and more features, will surely make a good tourer bike.
