Jeep Cherokee 2026 SUV – What to expect?
The newly revealed Cherokee SUV is the latest generation of the popular brand name, which survived for more than a decade in the global market before getting discontinued in 2023.
It is based on the latest STLA Large platform, which is also used on the recently revealed third-gen Compass SUV. Due to its platform advantage, the Cherokee will be offered with petrol and hybrid engine options.
While it is not officially confirmed, we suspect that it will also be offered with a pure electric powertrain due to the STLA platform’s use.
In terms of design, it features a radical change as it now gets a new set of headlamps, the iconic seven-slot Jeep grille, a rugged bumper design with foglights, and an overall masculine appearance for the front design.
Meanwhile, its side profile features s big glass area and new dual-tone alloy wheels. However, the fresh set of official photos does not reveal the rear profile details of the upcoming Cherokee.
The global debut of the new model Cherokee is expected to take place by late 2025. It will go on sale in the international market in early 2026, as per our anticipation.
Our verdict
Jeep’s new STLA platform is going to become a game-changer for the American SUV carmaker. The company has two big SUV launches scheduled for this year, the new Compass and Cherokee, and both models share the same platform. More details of these upcoming Jeep SUV cars will be revealed in the coming months.
