Hero Vida VX2 – What to expect?

As seen in the new spy images, the Vida VX2 seems to be a more affordable version of the V2 electric scooter. While it has an identical design to the V2, the feature list is on the basic side.

The spotted scooter is draped in a bright yellow colour, similar to the test mule, which was spotted weeks ago. Additionally, its body design is similar to the Vida Z scooter, which was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.

The headlamp and taillight are carried over from the Vida V2 range. Moreover, it features a smaller digital screen, which we suspect is a basic LCD with Bluetooth connectivity and features like turn-by-turn navigation and ride modes.

It also features a manual key fob, which further indicates that it is an affordable e-scooter. Meanwhile, the 12-inch alloy wheels are similar to the V2 e-scooter range.

Meanwhile, the side panel has a VX2 ‘Plus’ badge, which indicates that the Vida VX2 is likely going to be offered in various battery pack options. These battery pack options can be carried over from the V2 range, which has options of a 2.2 kWh, a 3.4 kWh, and a 3.94 kWh battery pack.

Hero has sent a media invite for July 1, which is supposed to be the launch date of the Vida VX2 scooter. As per our anticipation, its pricing will undercut the V2 range by a few thousand.

Our verdict

Hero Vida electric scooter range has been consistently trying to make a strong brand value in the growing EV segment. However, the premium price and limited range have kept buyers away. The VX2 will offer buyers a more affordable option with a decent range.
