Ahead of the launch of the 2022 ZS EV, MG has announced free charging for all the existing customers of the SUV. This initiative comes as part of MG’s partnership with Fortum Charge and Drive. Customers owning a ZS EV can charge this vehicle as many times as they want with this offer valid till 31st March 2022. It has been 3 years since Fortum announced its partnership with MG.

As per the former’s website, its charging network has CCS2-compliant DC fast chargers available in 16 locations. This includes Mohali, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore. With the use of this fast charger, customers can charge their ZS EV from 0 to 80 per cent in just 50 minutes. MG mentioned to new and existing MG users that INR 0.00 would appear as a charging fee on the mobile app, and they will be migrated back to the public charging tariff on a payment basis.

Then the customer will have to sign in using their email id or via Google/Facebook. The app will further ask to reconfirm the email and password. Upon successful confirmation, customers need to type in their mobile number. Once OTP is received, the customer can finally log in. This completes the entire login setup. Consistent Positive Sales Growth Of MG ZS EV

Ever since ZS EV entered the Indian market, the car has been selling in good numbers. Now MG is planning to introduce a more enhanced version, with a longer driving range. MG has released some images to confirm the arrival of the new ZS EV. From the outside, it looks pretty much like the Astor. But, under the hood, we can expect some significant changes. For the overseas market, MG updated the battery pack from a 44.5 kWh to a 51 kWh. We are expecting the same upgrade for the Indian market as well. In terms of ARAI rating, we expect the figure to rise in the range of 470 to 500 km, which is quite appreciable.
