Ultraviolette launches ‘UV SQUADRON’ Community Ride

On the occasion of the word motorcycling day, electric bike maker Ultraviolette has announced its riding community. The UV Squadron has been set up for like minded tech and motorcycle enthusiasts to interact. The inaugural ride took place in Bangalore on the occasion of the 2023 World Motorcycle Day.

UV Squadron is expected to not just build up a community of like minded folks, but also help the electric bike maker to expand its ecosystem. Furthermore, the group includes progressive individuals and they recognize the importance of a sustainable future.

On the inaugural ride day, the members clocked a cumulative 2,000 km. F77 owners were brought together due to this initiative. Apart from the ride, the UV Squadron also had multiple engagement activities like adventure sports. Some of the events included Rock CLimbing and Rappelling. All these ensured that there was a spirit of adventure and brotherhood amongst the members.

Apart from this ride, the aim of the UV Squadron is to offer new experiences as well as go beyond the usual expectations of potential EV bike owners.

Ultraviolette F77 : More Details

The F77 electric motorcycle.was launched at a price of INR 3.8 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants – Airstrike, Shadow and Laser. Meanwhile, the highest-spec Recon variant is priced at INR 4.55 lakh.

The F77 has been designed by an all-Indian team at the Ultraviolette R&D center in Bangalore. In terms of design, one can describe the motorcycle as striking. The F77 further comes with sharp bodywork along with a mass-forward design. It gets a sporty riding stance. Ultraviolette has used lower-set clip-on handlebars on the F77, which also adds to the sporting personality.

Ultraviolette has equipped the F77 with a 10.3 kWh battery. The top-end F77 Recon produces a peak power of 38.9 HP and a max torque of 95 Nm. The company is claiming a range of 307 km on a single charge. This range is the highest amongst the two-wheelers in India. Meanwhile, the lower versions get 36.2 HP and 85 Nm of peak torque with a claimed range of 206 km (IDC claimed).
