Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd. will reveal their F77 motorcycle on 13th November, 2019. the F77 is touted to be India’s high performance electric motorcycle, and is expected to redefine the electric motorcycle perception in our market. The brand is based in Bangalore and the F77 motorcycle takes inspiration from the engineering advancements of the aviation industry. The F77 promises to offer high-end technology and high performance.

The Ultraviolette Automotive F77 has been developed ground up here in India and it will come with multi-level safety systems in place. This bike will get OTA – Over The Air updates for the software systems and will be offered with riding modes, riding analytics, bike tracking in real time, telematics support and remote diagnostics. Obviously the bike will have bluetooth connectivity paired to the Ultraviolette Automotive F77 app. This would be another premium smart electric two-wheeler in India after the Revolt RV400.

While specifications and performance has not been revealed, the brand says that the F77 will feature regenerative braking for better battery management. Going by the tall claims of high performance, the company quotes a 0-60 kmph sprint time of 3.0 seconds and a torque output of 450 Nm on the wheel. This sounds promising. The electric motor will belt out 33.5 HP of power, which is in sync with the 300cc class of motorcycles.

Since the terms high performance and inspiration from aviation industry have been used, we are expecting a high price tag for this Ultraviolette Automotive F77, around INR 1.5 lakh and above. More details on the chassis, equipment, battery capacity and riding range will be known at the time of unveil next month. The fate of such high performance electric motorcycles remain to be seen, as conventional petrol-powered bikes are also facing a slow down and the BSVI emission norms are also soon to come in effect.
