TVS two-wheeler exports from India crosses 1,00,000 unit milestone

TVS Motor Company, one of the leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers in India announces that it exported 1,00,000 units of two-wheelers in March 2021. The company has its presence in over 60 countries covering the regions of Africa, South East Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, Central and South America and the growing demand for two-wheelers in the global market helped achieve this remarkable feat. Of all the products, TVS mentioned that its key products in the export market included the Apache, the HLX Series and the Stryker series.

Star City+ Now Comes with Pearl Blue Silver Colour

Recently, the company had announced the new Pearl Blue Silver shade for its ever-popular TVS Star City+ motorcycle and which is available with both Drum Brake and Disc Brake variants. Star City+ has always been a top-selling product in TVS’s lineup. Powering the motorcycle is a 109.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with a fuel injection system that makes 8.08 BHP of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. TVS claims that the equipped new ET-Fi EcoThrust-Fuel Injection Technology helps in improving the fuel efficiency by 15% and also delivers better stability, refinement, ride quality and a lower maintenance cost. The motorcycle features LED cluster headlamps which reduce the power consumption by 67%, a USB mobile charger, a huge 10-litre fuel tank, multifunctional instrument cluster and a 5-year warranty as standard.

2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

TVS Motor Company updated the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and now it gets a tuned engine with a performance output figure of 17.63 PS of power and 14.73 Nm of torque. The weight reduction of 2 kgs from its predecessor does not reflect from the outside, as the motorcycle remains completely identical in terms of the design to the outgoing model. This 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is available with three colour options, Knight Black, Racing Red and Metallic Blue. The motorcycle has a sticker price of INR 110,320 (ex-showroom) for the disc brake trim meanwhile the drum brake variant retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 107,270.
