TVS showcased stylish Zeppelin cruiser motorcycle concept at Auto Expo 2018

What Royal Enfield has achieved, very few have in the Indian two-wheeler industry. But, now, almost every brand wants a piece of the pie from this segment. TVS, at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2018, showcased the Zeppelin cruiser motorcycle concept which once launched, could be positioned in a segment to rival the likes of Royal Enfield or even the Bajaj Avenger.

TVS calls the Zeppelin a performance cruiser motorcycle, which highlights the raw metal look. Powering the Zeppelin will be a 220cc, engine with the TVS patented Integrated Starter Generator with an e-boost function which starts the motorcycle faster by providing an augmented boost. Along with a 1200W regenerative assist motor & a 48V Lithium-Ion battery, the TVS Zeppelin will have superior performance for cruiser lovers.

TVS is targeting the Zeppelin for the young long distance riders. The bike featured a rugged & exposed metal body, matte black finish with rustic brown hues, sleek front forks, compact headlamp with LED treatment, comfortable riding posture, two-up seat, lowered bars, feet forward pegs, LED tail lamps, belt drive, etc.

The bike in its concept form made use of a 41mm USD front fork, dual-channel ABS system, rear monoshock, tubeless spoked alloys, LED lighting, Bio-key, electronic speedometer, connectivity and a for the first time by an Indian manufacturer – an HD action camera.
