TVS will launch the Scooty Zest scooter in India on 20th August, 2014. The Scooty Zest was first revealed during the Auto Expo 2014.

The Scooty Zest gets a lot of design changes compared to the previous versions. The front end however, is still a familiar design. The model that we saw at the Auto Expo was in a dual tone, sky blue and silver paint scheme. It gets a clear lens headlamp and turn indicators on the front apron. Instrument cluster has a white background and has the usual speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. Seats also appear to be broader than the previous Scooty range. Another major change is seen at the rear end, the Zest will get a LED tail lamp and a black plastic panel around it. Pillion rider gets grab rails painted in silver. Exhaust end can gets a chrome section with CVTi branding. Under-seat storage capacity available is 19 litres. Both the wheels and the engine were seen painted in black on the model displayed at the Auto Expo. Key is conventionally placed under the handle bar and there is no storage bin located here.

The Scooty Zest will borrow the 110cc, 4-stroke, CVTi engine currently powering the Jupiter and Wego scooters. It is expected to deliver 8 BHP of power and 8 Nm of torque mated to a CVT transmission. TVS claims that the fuel efficiency will be rated at 62 kmpl.
