TVS Racing has showcased their products which will participate in the 2018 Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC) which will kick off in the days to come. TVS Racing is going to compete in Group B – Super Sport category and Group C – Pro-Stock category, this are for bikes under 165cc. Also, the team will flag off the first TVS One Make Championship RR 310 in the open category.
So for this, TVS Racing has revealed the race-spec Apache RR310 & Apache RTR 2004V Race Edition 2.0. The Apache RTR 200 will be used in the TVS One Make Novice category, the TVS Ladies One Make Series and the TVS Young Media Racer Series.
The Apache RR 310 race spec as you can see in the image below comes in the red paint option with sporty TVS Racing team decals. Mirrors have been removed, the rear fender has been eliminated, pillion foot pegs have been removed, headlamp & tail lamp have been covered and as you can see, the XL sized exhaust has been replaced with a smaller & slimmer unit. The rider foot pegs have also been repositioned with a new mount.
The race-spec TVS Apache RR 310 comes powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine producing 38 PS of power @ 10300 RPM and gets a FI system with 40mm throttle body. The bike now sports 175 kmph of top speed.
The Apache RTR 200 4v in race trim comes with the same 4-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve motor but now produces 24 PS of power @ 9300 RPM and top speed is now at 145 kmph. The bike already comes with a slipper clutch and also benefits from hydraulic dampers, modified cam shaft, retuned suspension, race-spec intake & exhaust, retuned carburetor & better ignition system.
