TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition now available in Yellow & Black at INR 74,365

TVS Motor Company has today announced the launch of a new colour for the brand’s flagship scooter the TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition – Yellow & Black. The Race Edition TVS Ntorq 125 is also currently available in the Red & Black colour. The TVS NTorq 125 starts at INR 67,885 ex-showroom, Delhi for the Drum brake edition and INR 71,885 for the Disc brake edition. The TVS NTorq Race Edition, however, is priced at INR 74,365 ex-showroom, Delhi. 

The new colour on the TVS NTorq 125 – Yellow & Black comes in a three-tone combination of matte black, metallic black and metallic yellow colour. The brand has targeted the TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition towards young GEN-Z audience and features  LED DRLs and LED headlamp in the brand’s signature design, vibrant chequered flag body graphics, dual-tone front fender, ‘Race Edition’ emblem on the scooter. The Race Edition also features a hazard lamp switch and the scooter is paired to an exclusive application – ‘TVS Connect’ that comes with a special race-inspired User Interface exclusive for the Race Edition.

Powering the TVS NTorq is the BS6 emissions-compliant 124.8cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC engine producing 9.25 BHP of power and 10.5 Nm of torque coupled to an automatic CVT-i transmission that can propel the scooter to a claimed top speed of 95 kmph. The brand has also updated the scooter with the Race Tuned Fuel injection (RT-Fi) technology that boasts ‘Better Real Throttle Feel’.

The TVS NTorq is also the brand’s best-selling scooter and TVS has sold more than 5 lakh units of the TVS NTorq. The TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition also currently features in the Top 10 scooters in India and has garnered the ‘Scooter Of The Year’ award in India for the fiscal year 2018-19.

In terms of mechanical hardware, the TVS NTorq 125 features rectangular tube type high-rigidity underbone chassis and rides on a telescopic front fork suspension and hydraulic gas type coil spring shock absorber on the rear. Stopping power comes from 220 mm hydraulic disc brake on the front and a 130 mm mechanical drum on the rear.
