The TVS NTorq 125 is the best scooter in the Indian market hands down. While this is not a mid-life makeover, the brand has now introduced NTorq 125 Race Edition in India priced at INR 62,995 ex-showroom, Delhi. The 125cc scooter now gets noticeable cosmetic add-ons over the standard NTorq and justifies the price bump.

For the 2019 TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition, you get a new LED headlamp with LED DRLs. What needs to be noted that the LED DRL pattern matches the tail lamp illumination, which makes this scooter look quite premium. The NTorq 125 Race Edition also gets a hazard lamp which can be turned on making use of a simple red switch. Other changes include a new ‘Race Edition’ decal, new chequered flag body graphics and a 3 tone unique paint scheme including matte black, metallic black and metallic red.

With more than 4 lakh customers, the TVS NTorq although not the highest in volumes, it is surely the benchmark overall in the 125cc segment. Pre-bookings for the NTorq 125 Race Edition will start only in select cities with a national roll out happening later. TVS first launched the NTorq 125 in the Indian market in February 2018.

Powering the TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition is a 124.79cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled petrol SOHC motor producing 9.4 PS of power @ 7500 RPM and 10.5 Nm of torque @ 5500 RPM matched to a CVT automatic transmission.

With the new additions and existing features including digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, app integration, telescopic front suspension, alloy wheels, front disc brake, grab rails, etc.; the TVS NTorq 125 now takes the game a notch higher in the 125cc segment.

The TVS Ntorq 125 rivals the likes of Honda Grazia, Suzuki Access 125, Piaggio Vespa 125 & Aprilia SR 125.
