Indian two and three-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has unveiled the Marvel Spider-Man and Thor editions of the NTORQ 125. Announced as SuperSquad Editions, the new scooters will join Iron Man, Black Panther, and Captain America-inspired scooters from 2020. The globally reputed manufacturer has partnered with Disney India’s consumer products business to introduce the SuperSquad Editions of the scooter. TVS has priced the SuperSquad editions of its NTORQ 125 scooter at INR 84,850 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

TVS has launched the two SuperSquad editions of the NTORQ 125 in Amazing Red and Lightning Gray colour schemes. Amazing Red, which symbolizes Spider-Man, consists of Red, Blue, and White colours throughout the scooter. The Spider-Man-inspired scooter sports a black spider graphic on both side panels along with ‘Beyond Amazing’ stickers.
Meanwhile, the ‘Lightning Gray’, which symbolizes Thor, consists of Orange, Black, and Grey colour schemes. The scooter sports Thor’s hammer, ‘Mjolnir’, as a graphic on the front side panels along with an Avengers symbol. To further represent the Superhero Thor, the scooter sports ‘Ride the Lightning’ stickers on either side of the rear panels.

Powering the NTORQ 125 SuperSquad editions is a 125cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled motor producing 9.4 PS and 10.5 Nm. With a 0-60 kph acceleration time of 9 seconds, the scooters sport a High Rigidity Under Bone Tubular Chassis. For comfort and handling, the scooters sport a telescopic front suspension and a monoshock rear suspension with Hydraulic Dampers.
TVS has equipped the scooters with 12-inch dual-tone alloy wheels on both ends with a 5.8-litre fuel tank. For braking performance, the scooters sport a 220mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum with SBT on both ends. TVS has also ensured to equip the scooter’s engine with Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi technology) for enhanced efficiency.

TVS offers the SuperSquad edition of the scooters with its SmartXonnect system, which now features a superhero-themed custom UI. Once the rider opens the TVS Connect App, it showcases the silhouette of the Spider-Man logo or Thor’s hammer insignias. TVS has ensured to craft the app screen with a unique character trait of either Superhero for a Marvel experience.
The brand aims to cater to the GenZ youth with its SuperSquad editions by offering several unique features. These include a Bluetooth-connected speedometer, LED DRLs, a Voice Assist function, and dual riding modes- Race and Street. The TVS SmartXonnect System also supports a new Save Address function with over 15 different voice commands.
