TVS launches limited edition HLX 125 Gold & HLX 150 Gold, but in Kenya

TVS Motor Company has globally announced the launch of two new limited-edition models, HLX 125 Gold and HLX 150 Gold, for Kenya. TVS launched the two models to commemorate over two million units of the global TVS HLX series sales milestone.

Launched in 2013, the TVS HLX series stayed true to TVS’ promise of being a sturdy product that is also reliable across rugged terrains. In Africa, the HLX plays an integral role in transforming millions of lives by catering to various commuting needs. In addition to this, the HLX series also provides last-mile connectivity for commercial taxis and delivery segments. These include rural and urban regions across Africa, the Middle East and LATAM. The HLX also plays an important role in the two-wheeler taxi segment in Africa. It does so by offering best-in-class durability, performance and quality.

TVS HLX 125 Gold & HLX 150 Gold Limtied Editions – Highlights

The new limited-edition models come with unique first-in-segment features. These include a Smart Lock, which is an anti-theft security feature using a key-fob. The feature aims to enhance the safety and security of the motorcycle. The motorcycle comes in a new Starlight Blue colour option with a Burgundy coloured seat. The HLX Gold models also get new stylish graphics on the fuel tank and side covers. The inspiration for the graphics comes from the Kenyan culture. Another highlight is the gold-themed front and rear suspension. Lastly, it gets an all-new 3D TVS Motor logo on the tank.

Powering the TVS HLX Gold is a durable 125 or 150cc engine with dual-stage filtration technology. For added convenience, it also gets features like a USB charger, hazard lights and a gear position indicator. Also optional is a telematics solution.

The complete TVS HLX series includes – TVS HLX PLUS (100cc), TVS HLX 125, TVS HLX 150 and TVS HLX 150X. The HLX range is available in over 49 countries in Africa, the Middle East and LATAM.
