TVS launches Apache RTR 160 4V with SmartXonnect, 3 Ride Modes & more

TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of its new Apache RTR 160 4V series of bikes for the Indian market. The company has also revealed a new Apache RTR 160 4V special edition.

2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Price, Variants and Colours 

TVS offers the new two-wheeler in 3 distinct variants: Drum, Single Disc, and Rear Disc. The Drum begins at an introductory price of INR 1,15,265 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Single Disc and Rear Disc come with a price tag of INR 1,17,350 and INR 1,20,050 (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively.

The standard TVS Apache RTR 160 4V will sport three colour options – Racing Red, Metallic Blue, and Knight Black. The top-spec special edition of the bike comes with a sticker price of INR 1,21,372 (ex-showroom Delhi). The special edition is only available with an exclusive Matte Black colour with red alloy wheels and a new seat pattern.

2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Design and Styling

TVS has designed the Apache RTR 160 4V by implementing racing-flag graphics on the fuel tank. The brand has also implemented a new headlamp set-up with a signature Daytime Running Lamp (DRL).

The brand will offer the standard Apache RTR 160 4V and the Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition with three ride modes. The bikes also sport a gear shift indicator and a rear radial tyre along with the Urban, Sport, and Rain ride modes. TVS also equips the top-spec Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition with a first-in-class adjustable clutch and brake levers. The brand will provide the top-end Special Edition with the TVS SmartXonnect system.

TVS Motor Company also launched its new Jupiter 125 scooter for the 125cc two-wheeler segment. Priced at INR 73,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the brand will offer the scooter in 3 variants – Drum, Drum Alloy, and Disc. Powering the Jupiter 125 is a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled 124.8 cc engine producing 8 PS of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. TVS will offer a semi-digital speedometer with smart alerts, average, and real-time mileage indicators on the new Jupiter 125.
