Indian two and three-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has launched the 2022 Jupiter ZX scooter with ‘SMARTXONNECT’ technology and features. Following the tagline ‘Zyadya Ka Fayda’, the TVS Jupiter has remained one of the most beloved scooters throughout the country. TVS had first introduced the Bluetooth connectivity feature on its Jupiter Grande Edition that competed in the 110cc scooter segment. Meanwhile, TVS Motor Company has priced the new 2022 Jupiter ZX with SMARTXONNECT technology at INR 80,973 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The newly introduced Jupiter ZX retains the same design language as before but with a ‘SMARTXONNECT’ sticker at the front. TVS now offers the scooter with two new colour options – Matte Black and Cooper Bronze along with Silver Oak inner panels. This allows the flagship variant of the Jupiter series to differentiate itself from its other trims whilst upping the desirability factor. Apart from these advanced features, the new TVS Jupiter ZX sports a new Dual Tone seat with new design patterns.
Additionally, this variant also gets a rear backrest that enhances the comfort and convenience aspect for the pillion rider. Meanwhile, the all-new SMARTXONNECT feature introduced on the new Jupiter ZX gets the latest, best-in-class technology features that enhance functionality. These include a fully-digital instrument console, Voice Assist, Navigation Assist, and SMS/Call alerts that cater to tech-savvy customers. This makes the TVS Jupiter ZX, the first 110cc scooter in India to offer the Voice Assist feature for convenience.
TVS has equipped the all-new Jupiter ZX SMARTXONNECT with intelliGO technology and i-TOUCHstart that includes an integrated starter-generator system. Additionally, the scooter also gets multiple attractive features that include an LED headlamp and a 2-litre glovebox mobile charger. Other utilities include 21-litres of storage that can handle a full-face helmet and a front disc brake for enhanced safety.
Powering the 2022 Jupiter ZX is a 110cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke motor producing 7.8 PS and 8.8 Nm. Paired to a CVT automatic transmission, the engine features fuel injection for seamless operations and efficiency. The scooter also sports a telescopic, hydraulic front suspension with a 3-step, adjustable, spring coil types rear suspension for comfort.
