TVS has launched the new Jupiter ZX model in two variants, with drum and disc brakes and both come equipped with a combined braking system called SBT. The Jupiter ZX drum brake variant is priced at INR 56,093 ex-showroom, Delhi and the disc brake variant at the price of INR 58,645 ex-showroom, Delhi.
The new Jupiter ZX model features an LED headlight, digital-analogue speedometer console, telescopic front suspension, adjustable rear shock absorbers, 3D embossed logo on the side panels, beige interior panels, twin-tone seat cover, chrome finish on the mirror housing, black finish 5×2 spoke 12-inch alloy wheels with 90/90 front and rear tubeless tyres, LED tail lights, disc brakes, under seat storage compartment, multi reflector turn signal lamps, etc.
The engine on the Jupiter ZX is a BSIV compliant single cylinder, air/fan-cooled 109.7cc engine that produces 8 PS of power and 8.4 Nm of torque mated to V-Matic type CVT gearbox. The engine comes with both an electric and kick starter.
The chassis on the scooter is a high rigidity underbone and the exterior dimensions measure in at 1,834mm in length, 650mm in width and 1,115mm in height along with a wheelbase of 1,275mm. The scooter gets a low seat height of 765mm for shorter riders and a ground clearance of 150mm.
The brakes on the Disc brake variant gets a 220mm hydraulically operated front disc with a 130mm internally expanding mechanically operated drum brake on the rear. The drum brake model gets a 130mm drum on both the front and rear wheels.
The TVS Jupiter ZX is available in two colour options which are:-
