TVS has introduced a new dual-tone variant of the Jupiter 125 scooter. The new variant is called Jupiter DT SXC, and it is positioned above the disc-alloy variant. Read more details below.

The new DT SXC variant of the Jupiter is a dual-tone version, which additionally offers the convenience of a smart digital LCD instrument console.

The digital console of the new Jupiter variant supports Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones. It also offers turn-by-turn navigation for an easy city riding experience.

In terms of visual appeal, the new dual-tone colours make it distinctive from the other variants. Customers can choose between an Ivory Brown and an Ivory Grey colour option.

TVS Jupiter 125 SXC DT

Price-wise, the DT SXC is positioned Rs 3,500 premium over the mid-spec Disc-alloy variant. That way, it sounds like a better deal on paper due to its LCD console and dual-tone colours at an affordable price.

Meanwhile, with the addition of the DT SXC variant, the Jupiter 125 range is now available in four variants. The prices for the Jupiter 125 start from Rs 80740 for the base Drum variant, and go up to Rs 92,001 for the top-spec Xonnect variant.

Mechanically, it uses a 124cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which makes 8.5 bhp and 11.1 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively.

The main competitors of the Jupiter 125 are: Honda Activa 125 and Hero Destini 125.

The new DT SXC variant of the Jupiter 125 provides a distinctive on-road presence to the peppy scooter. Additionally, the practicality of the digital instrument console is a boon for everyday commutes.
