TVS iQube electric scooter launched In Delhi at INR 1.08 Lakh

After the launch of iQube in Bengaluru, TVS has now introduced the electric scooter in Delhi as well. Interested customers can book the scooter by paying INR 5,000 but it is to be noted that the EMI option has not been started yet for the national capital customers as opposed to Bengaluru where it is being offered.

The electric scooter from TVS is powered by a 4.4 kW electric motor which makes 140 Nm of peak torque. The 2.25 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack propels the electric scooter to a top speed of 78 km/hr and the claimed mileage is rated at 75 km to a single charge. There are two riding modes, Economy and Power. The electric scooter can sprint from o to 40 kmph in 4.2 seconds which makes it quite useful for daily errands and intra-city trips.

In terms of features, TVS has equipped the iQube with LED headlight and tail lamp, TFT digital cluster, Q-park Assist, USB charger and connected technology called SmartXonnect which helps to access more additional features via the iQube mobile application. The SmartXHome charger which costs INR 10,000 is not included in the price and the customers need to pay the additional amount to procure the same. TVS is offering a 3-year/50,000 km warranty, 1-year roadside assistance and lifetime SmartXonnect basic features with a 1-year advanced subscription.

The ex-showroom price in Delhi is INR 1,36,077 which includes the 5 per cent GST and standard accessories charge and the on-road price comes to around INR 1,41,762. But, after applying the FAME subsidy of INR 22,500 and an additional INR 11,250 off under the State government subsidy, the on-road price for TVS iQube in Delhi comes down to INR 1,08,012. The sticker price of iQube in Bengaluru after the FAME subsidy is INR 1,15,000 which is about INR 7,000 more than that of Delhi. The iQube will lock its horn with other electric scooters having the likes of Other 450X, Bajaj Chetak and the upcoming Suzuki Burgman Street Electric.
