This update makes the Apache RTR 160 the first in its class to offer dual-channel ABS, reinforcing its position as the most powerful and feature-rich 160cc motorcycle in India.

Performance and powertrain

The 2025 Apache RTR 160 continues to draw power from a 159.7cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces:

Thanks to its segment-leading power-to-weight ratio, the bike delivers a thrilling ride across city streets and twisty backroads.

New Safety and emission compliance

The biggest upgrade is the dual-channel ABS, which now works in tandem with the bike’s three ride modes:

  • Sport: Sharper throttle and minimal ABS intervention
  • Urban: Balanced response for daily commutes
  • Rain: Softer throttle and heightened ABS sensitivity

The engine is now OBD2B compliant, ensuring it meets the latest emission and diagnostic standards.

Design and features

TVS has given the 2025 Apache RTR 160 a visual refresh with:

  • Red alloy wheels
  • New colour options like Matte Black and Pearl White
  • Race-inspired graphics

Feature-wise, it retains:

  • TVS SmartXonnect with Bluetooth and Voice Assist
  • Turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and crash alert system
  • LED headlamp and tail lamp, digital instrument cluster, and engine kill switch
