TVS Apache RR 310 – First Ride Review

TVS has launched the new Apache RR 310 in the Indian market with plenty of new features on the design front as well as in the electronics department. The new TVS Apache RTR 310 is now available in two variants and three built to order options. The new TVS Apache RR 310 looks similar the outgoing model but now gets aerodynamic winglets.

The motorcycle also comes with new colours as well as graphics too. In the electronics department the motorcycle comes with changes to the switch cubes as well as first in segment features such as Cruise Control and RT-DSC with a 6D IMU. Technical Specification

Powering the TVS Apache RR 310 is a 312.2cc reverse-inclined single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel injected engine, that produces 38 PS of power and 29 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick shifter. TVS has also made changes to the air intake system on the new bike to improve the volumetric efficiency of the engine. The engine also comes with forged aluminium pistons that helps the engine rev more freely. Braking power comes from 300mm disc on the front with a radial calliper and a 240mm disc on the rear with dual channel ABS.

Features

Key features on the new Apache RR 310 includes a Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control (RT-DSC) with a 6-axis IMU enabling functions such as cornering ABS, Cornering Traction Control, Cornering Cruise Control, Wheelie Control, Slope Dependent Control, and Rear Lift-Off Control. The Apache RR 310 also comes with aerodynamic winglets which the brand claims to add 3 kgs of downforce. Another unique feature on the Apache RR 310 is the transparent clutch cover. TVS has also upgraded the 5-inch vertical instruments cluster with multiway connectivity. The new Apache RR 310 also get TPMS foe further peace of mind.

The new TVS Apache RR310 comes with price tag of INR 2.75 lakh ex-showroom.
