Due for a 2015 market launch, Triumph has started working on an updated model of the Speed Triple.

The most noticeable change on the Speed Triple is expected on the engine side with better power and torque figures. The bike will also get the latest electronic aids such as traction control, engine models, keyless ignition, etc., to enhance riding pleasure. Engine capacity however is expected to remain the same, at 1,050cc. The chassis is also expected to be tweaked to shed a few kilos.

Exterior profile is expected to remain the same, if not for a couple of new decals of slightly redesigned headlamp and tail lamps. Also, the exhaust end-can can also be changed to look better.

In India, the Speed Triple ABS currently costs Rs. 10.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
