Triumph reveals Tiger Sport 660 adventure sports tourer, coming to India soon

Triumph has introduced the new Tiger Sport 660 in the international markets. The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 bring the iconic British brand’s Triple power engine to the middleweight adventure sports segment. The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 will set new benchmarks in the category by offering the highest levels of power, class-leading specifications and also the lowest cost of ownership.

Triumph is targeting riders looking for “maximum versatility” with the Tiger Sport 660. According to the brand, the Tiger Sport 660 will be able able to deliver versatile roles like commuting, everyday riding, as well as long trips. The brand also reveals that the Tiger Sport 660 comes equipped with the latest generation technology in terms of style, handling, performance and capability.

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 – Design & Styling

The Triumph Tiger 660 comes with a contemporary adventure sports design. The motorcycle gets all-new bodywork with sculpted features, including teardrop mirrors, muscular radiator shrouds, fork protectors and mid-ship mounted exhaust. The bike also gets a twin headlight set up, a sleek rear end with a contoured taillight. The bike also comes with a muscular 17-litre fuel tank and teardrop mirrors. The brand offers colour options such as Lucerne Blue and Sapphire Black, Korosi Red and Graphite, and Graphite and Black option. 

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 – Technical Specifications

Powering the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is a 660cc inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled 12 valve DOHC engine. The engine with a 240-degree firing order produces a low-down torque, solid mid-range performance and also high top-end power. The motor punches out 81 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful bike in the class. The engine comes with a sophisticated engine management system with a ride-by-wire throttle, a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch and a span-optimised clutch lever. The motorcycle also complies with European A2 license regulations using a conversion kit as an accessory.

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 – Features

The motorcycle gets features such as all-LED lighting and new first-in-class multi-functional instruments with a TFT display. The dashboard also comes with a Triumph connectivity system which enables turn-by-turn navigation, GoPro control, and phone and music interaction. The bike also comes with two riding modes. Road and Rain, integrated with the throttle response and traction control settings. The bike gets ABS and switchable traction control as standard for safety.
