The only change for the 2023 Speed Twin 1200 is the addition of a new Matte Baja Orange colour option. The new colour option joins the existing range of colour options. These include – Jet Black, Red Hopper and Matte Storm Grey.

Prices for the 2023 Speed Twin 1200 start at INR 11.09 lakh ex-showroom. However, that is for the Jet Black colour option. The rest of the colour options retail for INR 11.22 lakh ex-showroom. Unlike the rest of the colour options, the Jet Black colour option features a more minimalistic blacked-out look. Furthermore, unlike the other colour options, the Jet Black does not get stripes on the tank either.

2023 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 – Overview

Triumph last updated the Speed Twin 1200 in 2021, when it received a host of changes. For 2023, the only change to the Speed Twin 1200 is the addition of the new Matt Baja Orange colour option. Mechanically, the 2023 Speed Twin 1200 remains identical to the previous model.

The 2023 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 continues to use the same 1200cc liquid-cooled 270° crank SOHC parallel-twin motor as before. The engine makes 100 PS of power at 7,250 rpm. Meanwhile, the max torque output is rated at 112 Nm at 4,250 rpm. The Speed Twin uses a 6-speed gearbox with a multi-plate torque assist clutch.

As for the suspension, the Speed Twin 1200 uses 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down forks with cartridge damping at the front. At the rear, it uses twin RSUs which are also pre-load adjustable. Braking hardware consists of top-notch Brembo M50 radial callipers on 320mm discs at the front and a 2-piston Nissin calliper on a 220mm disc at the back. Dual-Channel ABS and Switchable Traction Control come as standard. The Speed Twin 1200 also gets lightweight 12-spoke cast aluminium wheels with sticky Metzeler Racetec RR tyres.
