Triumph has extended its anniversary offer till the 31st of August on the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400x sold in the Indian market. The brand will be offering a discount of INR 10,000 on both the motorcycles which means the Speed 400 which is the entry-level Triumph motorcycle in India comes with a price tag starting INR 2.24 lakh ex-showroom.
Triumph Motorcycle’s Anniversary Discount
Triumph’s anniversary offer was announced on the 1st of July which was supposed to run for a month. However, the brand has further extended the offer thanks to the response received by its customers. The company also bagged the order of more than 50,000 units globally and the discount offering is Triumph’s way of thanking its future customers. In addition to this, its direct competitor, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 was also launched last month and falls in the similar price range. With the discount offering, Triumph Motorcycles will keep the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400x competitive, killing two bird with one stone.
Powertrain Details
Powering the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400x comes is a 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 39.5 BHP of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. Both the motorcycles come with a 6-speed transmission with an assist and slipper clutch. Both bikes also come with features such as full LED lighting, a semi digital instruments cluster, upside down front fork suspension, disc brakes on both ends and a dual channel ABS.
Triumph Motorcycles India Dealership Network
Triumph has also expanded its dealership network to over 100 dealerships in the Indian market. Thanks to this, the brand is now available 75 cities in the Indian market. Furthermore the brand also plans to further expand its dealership network to more than 200 touch points by the end of next year. This move will further help the brand gain sales especially in the entry-level segment which includes the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400x.
