After being caught in the detuning act, Triumph is now offering compensation to the owners of these detuned motorcycles.

What is Triumph offering:

1. Owners can sell their motorcycles to Triumph and get their money back

2. Owners can buy accessories of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh and pay additional Rs. 10,000 to get the bike tuned to deliver 106 PS of power.

3. Get the bike retuned to deliver 106 PS of power without other benefits and accept to modifications which are out of ARAI rules.

4. Parts being changed include vacuum pipe, airbox ducting, Arrox exhaust and engine remap.

Will this bring Triumph back in the good books of the potential customers?

Initially, Triumph claimed that they forgot to update the website with the India-specific models and continued to display the international specifications. A lot of customers were angry with this, having purchased a sub-powered motorcycle, than what it being claimed.
