Triumph adds new colour for Street Triple RS in India

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

The 2022 Triumph Street Triple RS has finally arrived in India. We saw this motorcycle in the international market just a month ago. And now we have the same bike for the Indian market. Priced at INR 11.61 lakh (ex-showroom), Triumph Street Triple RS offers a great overall package for naked sport motorcycle enthusiasts. As a part of the 2022 update, the motorcycle benefits from a new colour scheme. The new Carbon Black shade gets bronze wheels and bronze ‘RS’ graphics on the fuel tank. Black always looks striking, and now with the golden touches, the Street Triple RS becomes even more desirable. The new colour option will also be the only one available with the Street Triple RS.

Street Triple RS – Brief Overview

The motorcycle continues with the same 765 cc BS6 compliant motor that makes 121.36 BHP and 79 Nm. The braking power comes from a dual disc set up upfront and a single disc at the rear. ABS is a standard fitment for the motorcycle. The highlighting features include Showa USD forks, Ohlins mono-shock, Brembo brakes and Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. Once launched, the Triumph Street Triple RS will go head to head against the likes of KTM 790 Duke, Yamaha MT-09 and Ducati Monster.

Other Updates

Triumph has also brought in the 2022 Trident 660 for the Indian market. The motorcycle benefits from a new colour shade. Other than this, just like Triumph Street Triple RS, there’s no change. Hence mechanically, the bike is identical to its predecessor. Triumph is looking to expand its reach in the country. The motorcycle maker added a new dealership in the country, making it the 14th store in India. With more dealerships, Triumph can target more regions, thus attracting more footfalls to its showrooms. With its updated 2022 range of motorcycles, Triumph looks fully prepared to take on the Indian market.
