Belgium headquartered electric two-wheeler manufacturer, ‘Trevor’ named in honour of the British Sportscar – ‘TVR’ has opened pre-bookings for the Trevor FTR Stella at a non-refundable price of EUR 100 for both the Trevor FTR Stella Ice White and the Trevor FTR Stella Mighty Black.
The brand calls the FTR Stella a ‘clean dirt bike’ and rightly so, the motorcycle is powered by a central-pivot mounted 11kW air-cooled brushless DC electric motor coupled to a 5.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack that claims to provide 3 hours of off-road use on a single charge and can be extended with a 2.6kWh removable and interchangeable optional battery pack from Saroléa Performance that provides with an additional 1.5 hours of range.
The 11kWh electric motor generates 150 Nm of torque at the rear wheel transmitted through a chain drive. The Trevor FTR Stella can reach speeds of up to 80 kmph and each battery pack takes 100 minutes to recharge. When the additional battery pack is removed, its space can also be used as a storage box.
For cycle parts, the FTR Stella comes equipped with a Molybdenum Trellis frame by Workhorse Speedshop that rides on 43mm custom made Öhlins front fork suspension, Öhlins STX 46 rear monoshock mounted on the double-sided swingarm, Domino Racing handlebar, 19-inch Haan Excel spoked wheels shod in Dunlop DT3 rubber for off-road performance and Beringer brakes. The performance parts and minimum equipment allows the FTR Stella to weigh in at only 75 kg.
In term of styling, the dirt bike comes with equipment that has been designed to work primarily off-road and comes in two colour themes White with Yellow chassis & White with Yellow accents on the tank and Black with Black chassis & White with Yellow accents on the tank. The FTR Stella comes with a long bench seat with side mudguards and ribbed battery box.
The FTR Stella is priced at EUR 12,995 / INR 10,90,000 (Inclusive of 21% VAT) with one standard battery. Trevor FTR Stella also comes with a 2-year mechanical warranty and the clean dirt bike is slated to commence worldwide deliveries from Q2 of 2021. Would you buy one?
